Ferrari has not won any races this year and has fallen behind Red Bull on the constructors championship.

If the heads keep rolling, will they ever run out of candidates willing to put their head on the block? It cant be great working environment with periodic sackings. One would think the staff may be tempted to spend too much time looking over their shoulders instead of the task at hand.

    Arrivabene

    Translates as "arrives well"

I have no idea as to translate his departure

    Badly
    Too soon
    Acrimoniously
    Vengefully
    Silently

I did see him leave the 2016 GP circuit at Albert Park in a charcoal/silver Bentley and he did look a man empowered by a whiff of his own importance.

so, basically, Ferrari is operating on its well established traditions, dating back decades?

Yup, they had a long dry spell from 1979 (Jody Scheckter) to 2000 (Schumacher), whose last win was 2004, followed by the current drought only broken by Kimi in 2007. I think they got used to winning in the Schumacher/Brawn et al era and thought they could continue, but only one drivers title in the last 12 years.
