This announcement has nothing to do with F1.

I'll be stuffed Graham! My lead in now says former F1. I'm sure he drove for an F1 team at one stage, F1 ostensibly being the pinnacle of motor racing. I think he's won three Le Mans, but they hardly count. He's still got all his fingers and toes, hasn't been roasted in a fire and can look back at a fairly incident free driving career. Good luck to him!

I thought he was the flipper , but that was only three cars, although two in one week, wasn't it? A record of sorts surely

Maybe I could have said "injury free".....in spite of serious aerodynamic problems with some of the cars he drove.......

That video of the Merc flipping was actually Schnider. Marks car (he flipped 2 that weekend) was not caught on camera. His crew actually alledged he was being reckless behind the wheel and "coulld not understand" that the car could do this. Rightly so! This was then caught on film while Mark was in the pits walking to his motorhome and he almost lost it at the team and managers for letting someone drive one of the cars again. He had been pleading with them to re asses the cars to no avail until this very moment. He was left very rattled and disheartened by the whole experience and believes it took quite a while to drive flat chat again.

Mark could take up high diving as the pre-req's are flips and being fearless.
Does anyone remember the very wet Brasil GP when Mark turned a F1 race car into a canoe, first win?

2003 for Jaguar. Smashed the wall, jumped out and the car was then smashed by a hard charging alonso. Both lucky to escape.
