Default F1 _ Ferrari gets updates before Russia

Ferrari is getting new engine upgrades to the petrol power plant and a new nosecone for this weekends race in Russia.

Hope they work as it could get interesting.

Whilst I agree that a Ferrari improvement (or any other team) would help to create a bit more interest that track is woeful.
i haven't checked to see if it's on free to air. I would never pay for it!

I'm with you David. Bernie's removal of free to air F1 will lose many more fans. How can broadcasting an event to the other side of the world hurt local attendances? The man is a very rich dimwit.
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

At present I am only watching free to air races, the rest I read up on overseas press as they give better coverage than OZ press.

I would suggest, dear boy, that it has something to do with selling it cable operators in those far flung corners of the planet!
Old Bernie, or "OB" as our Drinking Coven at the Club call him, might be dim, but imagine how rich he would be if he had the slightest semblance of a brain under that platinum wig!

Good Luck to Bernie. Foxtel is only present in about 10% of Australian households and not mine.

Whether you or I watch it on free to air, makes no difference to Bernie financially, but those watching it on Foxtell, pay $20 per month for the Sport channels, and I bet Bernie gets his share out of those. I have Foxtell, but have so far refused to pay $20 per month to watch motor sport, when little while ago I got it for nothing.

Whilst Bernie might be doing better in the short term, it will be interesting to see how it will impact of F1 fanbase in the long term, when kids increasing number of kids growing up without parents watching F1.

Had Austar for awhile because they showed moto gp and f1,then they started pumping adds, bugger that, not paying for adds.
so stopped the service, ch 10 pisses me off, delays telecasts,no 250cc-125-coverage,seems they want you to move back to pay tv.
have to check the guides to make sure i don't miss the races, can be a day or so late, bugger bernie.

I'd happily pay AUD20.00 just for the ability to watch or record all the practices, qualifying for and an individual race. There are alternatives.

Looks like the engine improvements didnt make much difference, at least not at this track.
