Default No Citroens in Rally Mexico?

Does anybody know why there are no Citroens in this rally?

Or more logically perhaps because none were entered into the event.

I would thought none being entered into the event explains exactly the reason none turned up and were seen driving.

To take a step a back and ask why Citroen chose not to compete is real question to be asked. And even after a "google investigation" that is still anyone's guess.

Indeed! The logistics are huge, I believe, but as Citroen has had such success with their cars we all still wonder, WHY?

In matters like this of huge world shattering significance invariably a single humble person of lowly ranking is deemed responsible for the error.

In Citroen's case I'm suspecting the receptionist forget to email the relevant authority, when told to do so by the GM on his way out to play Wed 'arvo golf with his mates.

Well, it's just about as logical as Telstra's explanation of the recent massive network outage which was said to caused by a single technician's error whilst doing routine maintenance.

Citroens and the Mexico rally feature in this film. I'm sorry, Cit owners, but I lived through all this and navigated in a Twin Cam Escort as well!

Citroen aren't running in the WRC this year, will return next year with a new car. There is a limited privately run campaign so Meeke can keep his hand in but Mexico wasn't part of this. I don't think Australia will be either, a pity as this year will be the first time I will get to Rally Australia!

Rally Australia looks good shame that all involved leave Coffs for Sydney for the year end party!
Citroen are taking a sabbatical this your to develop next years new format car I believe! With a kris meeke to slay all I hope!
