    Default Rip 206gti180

I had a braking failure and roll over at Winton a few weeks ago.
Fortunately everybody walked away. It is not something I would wish to repeat.
I had a cage, HANS, 6 point harness and Velo Apex wrap around seat.
The Alfa 75 I hit had a race seat which gave some protection to the driver Allan.

Still to pull the system apart but a fluid boil is at least a partial cause.

    G'day,
happy to hear that you are OK. Is there any part of the car that is not bent?
I noticed that your Bathurst time is a little quicker than mine.
    regards,
    Les W.

    G'day,
probably the most fragile part of the car. You could mount it on your garage wall.

    Les W.

From the way it's written, the 206 has got out of hand, struck the Alfa, then continued on it's careening path to rollover.

At this level of motor sports, what's the situation with the Alfa - who bears the cost?

Allan was very gracious considering. He had been in a bad race crash previously.
I apologised to him and his reply was "We all know the the risk when we go out there."
We also sign a disclaimer before the event and bear our own costs or you don't compete.

Are you suggesting the 206 is a boat?
