    Default Lotus financial news

I was reading in the Finnish press that all F1 teams get a house at Suzuka for their use, for which they pay rent. Lotus did not get the keys, because they did not pay the rent last year, forcing the engineers to work out of a hotel. Original source was quoted as - GP du Japon - Lotus dans l'attente (right click and select translate to English to get the gist of it)

Older news from back end of July - Lotus Formula 1 team continues to pay off creditors - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Looks more serious to me than I had previously thought.

Lotus locked out of their pits, this time in Brazil. Apparently for non-payment of costs last year.

Lotus are doing it tough. Even with the "worlds best F1 Engine", nothing has changed. Red Bull are doing it tough too, but would the "worlds best F1 Engine" change anything?
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

And even though Malgobango gives Lotus a lot of Venuzuelan bolivars those unpaid rents are needed for his weekly crash repairs.

Yes, I think it would make a world of difference to Red Bull
