It appears to be the same car which appears towards the rear of this pack just about to round the corner in the photo in the below link:-

    Google Image Result for http://www.teekay.com.au/hastings/images/cover.jpg

Also located the following practice results:-

http://racing.natsoft.com.au/6377753...911.88K/View?2 - which lists Peugeot 405 and driver details for 3 rd place qualifier as Bryce Peter-Budge (Vic) Peugeot 405. Not 100% sure these details relate to the above car.

Nope, I'm pretty certain they are different cars. The first one used to be part of the Mumbo Racing garage, I've previously tried to contact them to see if they still have it.

The second car was on the road until fairly recently and they have put one of their race engines in it. That shot looks like Phillip Island just the other weekend. They had some issues on Saturday, and I helped diagnose their engine problem (loose wire on the alternator), but late in the day they blew the outer boots on the half shafts and didn't have a 3/4" drive to take the axle nuts off. I know they got it sorted as they were out first thing on Sunday but failed to finish race 3.

They reported something like 250hp from dyno work, but it is a little hard to believe. It does have staged injection with the second set of injectors at the trumpet mouth.

The car also has updside down front strut inserts from Penske. They have one of the original 406 (? I think?) super tourers, but I've not seen it.

    Same driver different car yes?

    1:52 is healthy time for a non-honda FWD U2L.
