    Not as simple as that. A Megane diesel is shown as 4.5 litres per 100 ks. The Prius uses 98 octane and in Qld diesel is usually cheaper than 91 octane. In theory the Megane will be cheaper to run....

    It is a rebuilt engine may be done a couple of 1000 k's. I definately don't give any welly until it turns out the light. I should chase up some Purflux filters I guess. Haven't checked oil pressure...

    There are several 17's in Northern NSW, another two in Brisbane, at least one is a TS. And a 17TS or G in Central NSW. All are registered for road use, or were when I last saw them a year ago....
