Hi Peter, are you still doing shifters for the 205? I would like to firm up the shifts in my green 1990 Gti which I am trying to keep basically stock standard. That said, a slightly shorter shift would be nice too. Can you sell me a kit to Melbourne to try and fix both issues? I guess otherwise I could order something online.
    Thanks

Hi mate. Ive noticed your name come up a couple times with regarding parts, so i thought id drop you a line. Ive just purchased a 2ltr mi16(cast iron block) engine which im going to refurb and put in my series 1 205 gti. Can you help me out with any/ all parts needed for the conversion? Also, whats the best engine mods for this engine and where to get the parts from? Im looking to spend 10k total ( engine refurb, rebuild 1900 gear box and have it installed in car). Any advise would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

Hi peter I was talking to Adrian W and he suggested you might have the part numbers easily accessible to rebuild the rear trailing arms ( shafts seals and bearings ) also if you have a recommendation as where to source them locally.
    tks in advance

"So inlet is advanced to 0.0065" to 0.0075" @tdc, but i need to know the lift @tdc on the 435a as an exhaust cam."

Upon further thought, that is a dumb question.
Here hopefully is a better one....

How does one measure the advance on an exhaust and how much advance on standard if any?

    Also extra questions

    1. Do you have any lightened flywheels/pulleys made in Australia or do you import from the U.K.?

    2. I assume you run throttlebodies, same question really, Aussie or Pommie?

    Cheers
    Bill
