    Hi Graham ,
everyone seems to have a flu or cold , not that that is much comfort to you . mend up.
been very cold and frosty here, cant do much outside till after lunch

Prolly wise to check over the Douvrin first as they are all getting to same age,
new head gaskets just dont last like the old,
the 203 bailey is narrower, dont worry, hang onto what you have, I'll find some (dont need the vertical C model bit which is different to the bits that curve)

    Cheers

    Hi there Graham,

Wrote to you about 2 weeks ago re hp for a 8 valve 1.9ltr 405 auto sedan

Is there anyway which can confirm 110 hp is correct for a new camshaft.
Overseas supplier wants me to buy 2 camshafts as he reckons 110 horsepower engine needs 2.
Can only assume he is thinking of M16 405.
It is definately single cam head.

    Cheers

    Hello Graham,

I'd been meaning to get back to you but am travelling in the US at present and it had slipped my mind.

Since asking about the guard the 306 has had a major auto gearbox failure which will be uneconomical to repair so I am sadly going to sell it as-is (if someone will buy) for wrecking or repair.

So no point in my replacing the guard so I will not need the one from your car. Hope this does not muck you around too much?

    Best regards,
    Ian.
