You can get a clear epoxy that you can use. I love the idea. Interesting article I read say that the reflector has to be re-silvered. If re-chromed...

This will be a road car. At this stage it looks like it will just be a nice drive-able fresh 1397cc. Maybe a little fresher later on? Frans.

Timing can be set using no.1 or no.4 it won't make a difference. Maybe the timing is so far out that the mark has disappeared behind the bell...

    Hello Frans.

Sorry that I've been a little shy of late.... Hope you, your family and your brace of Renault R8 Gordini's are in perfect health. Would love to keep in contact with you (not just for your interest in Alpine A310 matters) and catch up for a coffee sometime real soon.

Just in case you've not got my new e-mail address..... It's "[email protected]".

    Cheers Frans,

    John.

    Hi Frans
What are the spindles worth as I would be needing 2 ? What ignition system are you using, it looks like a custom fit crank position sensor? I am trying to get these 2 race cars built, but I'm flying blind without all the blokes from the track in SA . You forget how valuable those beers were after the race.

    Hi Frans
Interesting, I was racing a left hand drive dauphine ,Brian Evans has it now.The Gordini motor that was in that is going into the R8 . It has the Dacia block and all the other good bits . Just not sure where I will race it ? After the Dauphine I raced a 911 and then a Camaro that Peter DuToit now has (the yellow and white one) , the good old days when it was easy to go racing.
