R5Ts spotted for sale

$24 300 AUD with 45 hours to go. Certainly cheap so far, depends on the reserve. Doesn't seem very popular. Is it because of the modifications or that it is in Australia? Rally rego only in Australia I expect makes this less attractive.
 
It seems to need some work on close inspection of the photos, OK for a "Tribute" rally car but it would need a heap of work to be a reliable track day car. No detailed pics of underneath, brakes, suspension.
 
Yes, rally reg only and RHD make it less desirable....but still desirable, but given I've retired from tarmac rally, nah.

Me too, definitely still on my wish list though. It was perfect for me being RHD, I now have trouble with right hand gearchange due to worn out shoulder/elbow, part of the reason I sold the Gp C car.
 
I'd almost be content with a fake one, but I wouldn't want to do that to my 5TS
 
Black one just sold on Bring A Trailer for US$117000 - that's 180,000 Aussie Dolleros.
Looks like our crappy dollar will preclude any imports for a while.
Should I convert mine back to left hook? Hmmmm.
