I know its a long shot, but maybe someone has a two cylinder Panhard engine sitting in a shed looking for a new home ?

a man of my same heart .put it out there ,and keep shaking the tree .till something falls out ,they are not all that common but, who knows there could be one out, there that was used to run a saw bench or a small boat ,stuff turns up on the strangest of places .

I wonder if a direct inquiry to Gerry Freed in Tasmania would be useful in "working the network" of Panhard people.

A few years ago there was a Panhard flat twin pump engine (which I believe was essentially the same as the car engine) for sale in Northern Victoria...might be worth searching the site archive?

The ones that ended up as pump motors were usually of the older versions with the exposed cooling fan and not the more sophisticated ones with the turbine and limited slip coupling used on the PL 17 and 24. Not much is compatible, different camshafts etc.
