Citroen C5 X7 2009 wagon rear left excessive brake pad wear

The first issue was related probably to the hydraulic lock with the piston plunger, however the damage to the cylinder bores were spotted as being caused by incorrect pads with “pins” that don’t properly match the holes in the piston facing. What has been happening is the pads haven’t been pushed squarely skewing the pads and have also put uneven pressure on the pistons causing the pistons to scrape the sides of the cylinder. I ordered the correct pads today and with the new pistons and seal kit will put it all back together and see how it works. Probably the reason I can’t find stock of replacement calipers is that they usually don’t wear. A Citroën specialist said he hadn’t heard of anything like that happening and he’s never had to replace a caliper because of cylinder damage.
