Evening all,

For those of you who suffer from a stripped gear or two in your Peugeot 405 cabin recirculate stepper motor... The answer comes from a chap in France who's milling replacements out of brass.

Came across them after my latest recirculate motor fail. Cost 61 euros delivered.

Cheers,

Monsieur 405

Fantastic, although 61 euros is not small change...

I've been meaning to draw the gears up and 3D print them for a while now, maybe this and the warmer weather will be the motivation I need!

Although if you haven't installed them yet, officeworks does 3D scanning...

Roughly $86 to permanently fix the inevitable demise of your recirculate motor (or heater motor) doing no thinking or designing and all the time that would take.. It's not 'small change', but it's not the cost of a new motor, or the trouble of sourcing one from a wreck (which will be partially broken already no doubt) Further more, a 3D printed gear wouldn't be any stronger than the original I'd think?

Get the number from the stepper motor
It will be 12 or so digits long.

Search Google and you are sure to find one cheaper

Also always for ex VAT price in Europe and USA.

Their VAT is 18- 20%. So it is much cheaper as it is an export item
