Mums decided to sell her 225, so that she can buy my 175.
The cars a phase 2, so has the better bumpers, lights and interior. Its pretty good cosmetically. We've fitted the earlier 17 wheels, because of constantly cracking the 18's (roads around here are woeful).
Done just over 200k kms. Drives well. But has some downsides that are the reason it's being advertised cheaply. It needs tyres, the roof lining has sagged, the cam belts about 4 years and 80k old, so due again. The worst is the clutch is worn. It's still driving fine. But the pedals very high. Also has a slight rattle of the dual mass flywheel. But has her whole ownership (since 113 kms).
Good bits are, new front shockers and powerflex control arm bushes, recently-ish. And rear brakes. (The expensive end). It's always eaten 98 octane fuel, and she's currently got it averaging about 7.5 l/100 kms. Basically it's a great car that needs some love and a weekend!
It's got about 6 months victorian registration, but we won't be getting a rwc. I think it would probably only need tyres and the roof lining repaired to pass.
We're hoping to get as close to $4,000 as possible, I think the colour and condition should make it worth somewhere close.
