That one did the rounds a while back Alan, very funny

Me thinks it's a little Renault... the AX would have had no trouble

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

    What, an R-5 maybe??

How do you like the Yorkshireman's comment that is half bleeped out? "Orh.....*ooooookin' 'ell!!" Priceless.

    Thanks

I think it's a Renault 5. Great little cars. Right up there with the LN. I saw one crossing the harbour bridge once. It had cool stickers

After that episode I think the phrase should be
    "it WAS an R5".

I can only assume it was in the UK - no-one else would torture such a small car with such a large caravan. (Although the Dutch also seem very good at attaching large vans to small cars and going slowly through France)

Definitely the UK Paul; turn up the volume and hear the amusing "adjective" that was bleeped partially out in a strong Lancastrian or Yorkshire dialect. It actuall makes the clip mainly because he says we we all thought.
