    Beyond my abilities (styler to do):
    1. New Activity dogs breakfast: Reformat & make easier browsing. Some Avatars not showing. - Done
    2. Justify left in some forum thread views - Done.
    3. Google Chrome issues with text over images
    4. Cannot get vBsponsor ads to show in showthread.php, & no conditional google ads work anywhere with vBsponsors. - Done
    5. Get advert at top of forum view hidden for aussiefrogggers using IF (group) commands. - Done
    6. Fix Members Gallery (vB pic gallery) -This does not work anymore with vB4. I am importing our data to a different product
    7. Make smaller Aussiefrogs roundels at the left of each index both on the main page and individual forum pages to avoid mouse wheel fatigue. - Done
    8. Log in Box up top as guest is too high & submit button missing/ not showing. DONE
    9. Add "New Posts" icon between "Home" & "New Activity" with link search.php?searchid=3637 (have created a temp link on main forum page) - Done
    10. Put a line or make slight colour change where signature of member starts in a post. - Done
    11. Create mobile style with similar colours & feel to full version.
    12. Create Apple & Android Apps with the mobile style

    Making good progress thanks Gibgib

    Can we add to your list
    Reduce the size of the Aussiefrogs roundels at the left of each index both on the main page and individual forum pages, I'm wearing out my mouse scroll wheel

    Cheers

    Just another small one - the orange bar where the "log in" boxes appear needs to be aligned so that it isn't over the photo/logo at the top of the screen. I'm using Safari 6.0 (let the Mac hate start now !

    G'day,

    Renault forum has titles all in the centre, can we have them to the left please, much easier to read, ta....

    At the risk of being a PITA.... new activity seems to show every new post, old one with new threads was easier to handle :-))

    cheers,
    Bob

    If you check gibgib's list above^ both of your concerns are being addressed, some things require the attention of an outside source and may take a while to be fixed.

    I have fixed the alignment problem that was present on forums without a sponsor advert, it was just a slip of the keyboard by the coder.

    I changed this

    <!-- barne77 -->
    <!-- vBSponsors -->
    <vb:if condition="$foruminfo['sponsor_enabled'] == 1 AND $vboptions['sponsor_global_enable_sponsorship'] == 1">
    <div style="background: #E5E5DD; padding: 4px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-top: 5px; text-align: center; ">
    {vb:raw vboptions.sponsor_global_default_text} <br />
    <a href="vB.Sponsors/link.php?f={vb:raw foruminfo.forumid}" title="{vb:raw foruminfo.sponsor_name}" target="_blank">
    <vb:if condition="$foruminfo['sponsor_banner_enabled'] == 1 AND $vboptions['sponsor_global_enable_banners'] == 1">
    <vb:if condition="!empty($foruminfo['sponsor_banner_big'])">
    <vb:if condition="$vboptions['sponsor_global_enable_big_banners'] == 1">
    <img src="{vb:raw foruminfo.sponsor_banner_big}" border="0" />
    <vb:else />
    <img src="{vb:raw foruminfo.sponsor_banner}" border="0" />
    </vb:if>
    <vb:else />
    {vb:raw foruminfo.sponsor_name}
    </vb:if> </div> </vb:if> </a> </vb:if>
    <!-- / vBSponsors -->
    To this:

    <!-- barne77 -->
    <!-- vBSponsors -->
    <vb:if condition="$foruminfo['sponsor_enabled'] == 1 AND $vboptions['sponsor_global_enable_sponsorship'] == 1">
    <div style="background: #E5E5DD; padding: 4px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-top: 5px; text-align: center; ">

    in the 'Forum Display' style page. He accidentally had the 'div' element closing between the wrong if/else attributes and it wasn't closing the text centering if there was no advert.

    The 'Mark Forums Read' link at the bottom of the index page is working - but the same link in the 'Nav Panel' does not, it comes up with 'invalid security token' message.

    OK roger.
    I need to create a heap of new templates to fix a lot of the links in the nav panel. Setting aside some time over the weekend.

    On other matter:
    Try the "New Posts" link in the navigation bar above & see if it is like the old version now.

    'New Post' button works a treat, just like the good ol' days

    I'm using Chrome and this screenshot shows where I get the text over images. It only happens with 'New Activity', but not with 'New Posts'.

    PS The control panel works now, thank you

    I'd just like to compliment Gib Gib on how nice AF looks and how well it works.

    The file upload system caused some initial head scratching but once I figured it out it works really well.

    It a lot of work to update vbb versions let alone updating and modernizing styles as well.

    Almost there now!

    Icon5 Poster self moderation controls.?

    Twoud be nice to have a user lock thread button, for those times when a thread goes seriously off topic or uninterested (bored?) bystanders start a rock fight, that causes the thread to be "eventually" locked. At present I note that the only alternative is for the person who commenced the thread to delete the thread, which is hardly fair to to those that spent time composing their considered response within the rules of the forum.

    There have been a lot of interesting threads "deep sixed" by the thread starter due to unruly behaviour.

    The other advantage would be easier to moderate, no real need for santitizing threads, and the post would remain as an example of the inconsiderate, ill tempered comments that we could do without. Some threads outlive any useful purpose other than idle amusement for a few with nothing better to do.

    We all like interesting and stimulating conversation on a variety of subjects, but no one wants a thread to develop into a bunfight, especially in off topic slugging matches.

    Might have more contributors willing to post interesting topics on things they are doing, like shanes interesting stories from Ballarat Citroenville! or Dino's gardening topic, Russell's History threads.

    Anyway just a thought if you think it worthwhile. The thought comes out of various off forum conversations with past contributors who chose to leave the forum due to disruptive posts and personal [unwarranted] attacks on posters.

    Thanks for the privilige of participating,

    Ken
