    Default Car Designers.

If you could pick a designer to "pen" a car (one that has never done a car before or not one for production anyway) .. who would you choose ?

My vote goes to Jacob Jensen

See the job he did with the XM in 1992.

I doubt Mr Jensen could legally use that name, unless he's the same Jensen that built the beaut range of cars from yesteryear. The Jensen Inteceptor was a sweet looking sports car in the '70's as i recall.

Edit: Ooooops didn't answer the question.
A/ Not this bloke, don't like the styling.

Such a crap joke in so many ways:

    First off, it's GEIGER counter.
Secondly, Giger is pronounced gee'-gur (with a hard G)

Yep I could see that going into production "Look the worlds first car that can only drive in a straight line"

Guess what the reason is for no other car on the road ever having enclosed front wheels is :>

    Erm,
This guy appears to have just whizzed on the original XM design (which looks much better imo).......

It's hardly a new design or even a redesign, more a riced XM body/guard kit......

Oooooops someones a bit sensitive today, guess i jeegered it up.
I really don't give a ----, if it wasn't gramatically correct, it was an attemt at humour, admittedly not my best, but not worth getting your nickers in a twist over. :>

Actually I thought that was what it was - a bodykit for an XM! As you say, hardly a new design.

BTW yes that is the Giger who designed the ALIEN creature and other things from the movie, he is pretty twisted, but on the plus side you would never be the victim of a road rage attack in one of his designs....

ahhh...the XM.....this car should really be looked at as a work of art.....ie not to be traeted like a fake evo lancer....

so..when it comes to real art work.....there is a little saying.....if u add to it u stuff it up...if u take away from it ...u stuff it up again.....just let it be..........

as for who i d like to pen my perfect car....well....i d do the job myself....i d probably stuff it up but i d guarantee it be better than anything the hyndai guys can come up with....

    cheers

then there is the famous tadao ando......self tought but exceptional....
always freaks me out how the japanese do not do much better in automotive design....considering the anime culture and talent....

ps....u do realise i was only kidding.......very funny reply nevertheless....one thing is for sure the guy who DESIGNED the auto ON AC should definitely be kept
as far away from anything that has anything to do with "mercury" or other temerature measuring/calibrating devices....note, emphasis is on mercury....
