    Default New Poll

First attempt at a new poll .. Screen resolution, what do you use. Only the common ones included therefore things like ... 720x480, 720x576 , 848x480, 1280x720, 1280x768 , 1280x960, 1360x768, 1600x900, 1600x1024 are NOT included .. there is always the "other" option.

Took a while to work it out .. but start a tread (edit .. make that thread) .. tick add a poll.
The rest is simple ... but can't have multiple questions like the old forum had

I run 1280x1024 but my web browser window width (which I presume is what you're really after) is usually about 900 pixels. I hardly, if ever, run anything maximised.

I hate really wide browser windows, it makes text harder to read (the column of text is way too wide)

pugrambo, um... on the topic of signatures, that orange writing of yours really doesn't work too well on the green background...

It's doing strange things to my eyes

1280x1024 at home, 1024x768 on the work machine. I run the broswer at full screen. The bigger the resolution the better, but I am not going to run it high enough that I have to squint to view the monitor.

I mostly use a laptop when browsing at home. It is limited to 800x600 resolution, otherwise if I make it 1024x768 a lot of scrolling has to be done.

    At work I use 1152x864.

Yeah. .... people forget about the F11 key on IE ... try it sometime and you might find things easier ... esp. if you are running a lowish 800x600 res.

Yeah, even I forgot about F11 for fullscreen. I meant I have the window at maximised rather than full screen.

Mozilla and Opera can also go to fullscreen by pressing F11.

you can also adjust font size by using left ctrl key and the scroll on your mouse but it doesn't seem to work on this forum software
it works on other pages though and on the old forum software

With most people why voted well and truly on the 1024x768 size or larger it makes a case for 150x150 avatars ... those lower have an option of turning them off for increased screen real estate (and the F11 key !!!)

That makes sense the two correlate quite well.
