Default Colours get the thumbs up.

i think the green and white is fine the way it is

looks very aussie, well as close to aussie as we can get as i think green and yellow would look a little weird and maybe too harsh on the eyes

maybe a slightly toned down white would be all i would do to it but we all have brightness controls on our machines

It's a top effort but a bit of further refining can make it better.

I've never had to change the colours myself.....it looks pretty hard actually. Much respect for the effort so-far.

Heres a snapshot of a forum I use to show how clean and neat you can get it.

That forum is neat but very dull. Looks like every other forum on the net.

It is pretty difficult to get the colours right.

Go down to template manager & have a play. You can click on the template you create for an instant preview.
If you get one that looks OK, download it & email it to me.

What colour tinge should we take the bright white of this scheme?

i don't mind the green at all

the 2 tone blue lines are cool

the white i'm not too worried about but i think a few people have said that it's a bit too bright so i'd say leave everything the way it is but bring the white down a few shades

we don't want a board looking like every other board on the net now

we drive different cars from everyone else lets have out board different as well

I had a little play in an image editor. As you can see, just removing the black borders makes a big difference. It looks much more simple.

I moved a few things around in the third pic, and I reckon it looks better again. The colours are good, they seem easier on the eye than the old forum.

The only thing I might suggest is a very light shade of green to replace the white when viewing a thread. This will reduce the colour contrast and make it easier to read.

I also like no lines version, just wondering how I'd go about it.

Might create another template with no lines & light green instead of the white.

I've modified this template. You can choose it on your cp options down the bottom.
No black lines & the white has a grey tinge (not green which was too bright).
