Bit scared but we can use a fresh back up I will create just before the last install click.

    Probably around 9PM.
Should only be about 20 minutes where pages may sometimes not load.

    Fruitless exercise!
    Sorry people

We are back to 8:38PM yesterday when I did the backup.

There is so much to do with the style on VB4. The new import & style conversion VB have introduced did very little to our style to have it anywhere near workable. Style is not my forte & coding sends me bananas, especially when it's sleep time.

Will try it on a test forum next time.

PS. Meant to ask.....during these changeover thingies, does it make it easier if no-one posts while the work's being done, or does it make no difference? Other than the odd lost post etc.?

I'm worried my posts brought the whole thing undone.

    Default Internet Explorer glitch

Hi, just a bit of feedback. Since the new forum and return to this one I can no longer log on with Internet Explorer. I can with Chrome which is how I am posting this. With IE I get told we have a database error etc.
I hope this may help and good luck with the move.

Make sure your IE is not pointing to: http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/forum.php like the default vb4

I can't replicate the PM link problem here??

In case you missed it, here's what AF looked like last night:

It looks promising. I reckon the finished article will be pretty good when you eventually get it up and running.
