    Default Recommended freight service

Just bought a gearbox from Sydney & ended up having it brought up by "pack& send". seller packed it onto a small pallet ( very well done I might add) & took it to their depot yesterday morning, & it's on my doorstep at lunchtime today. fantastic service. cheers Dave

pack and send are like a lot of other major couriers, they are only as good as their agents and it looks like you got lucky

generally pack and send will use just about anybody to ship their freight as they go through brokers for the best rate

Just for info I used Trans Direct a few months ago. I had very good results with them and they have a no fuss online sytem.

Based on a package on skid weighing 65 kg, estimated size of 500mmx500mmx 500mm door to door freight from 2000 (Sydney) to 2482 would be $69.88 or $149.90 for a tailgate lifter.

So P&S were pretty competitive considering they packed as well.
