Default Repco 20% off Saturday and Sunday

Repco have a 20% discount across the board this weekend, Sat 5th and Sun 6th. This is a sample of what I PAID after the discount.

    Mobil 1 5W-50, 5 litres $70.39
    Catrol Transmax M, 4 litres $32.79
Nulon E30 Long Term Engine Treatment (lasts 80,000kms) $31.99
    Ryco oil filter $13.60

These were the sort of prices I used to pay at Big W for the Mobil 1 and Transmax M a couple fo years ago.

I made a mistake with the Mobil 1. I picked up a 5W-30 (for newer vehicles) which is more expensive. Since the oil was still in the boot of the car and my wife had the car all morning, I've just now had it changed to Mobil 1 5W-50. The nice thing is it was only 59.99 after discount, so they credited me with $11. I then rewarded myself with 4 NGK Iridium spark plugs for $66.76 after discount.

Must remember this next time Repco or Supercheap have an across the board discount. Oil loses its value (unused) less quickly than money

I refuse to go to Repco because I am tired of being bent over as soon as I walk through the door, especially for spare parts, the average non trade customer can expect to pay three times the going rate for parts...not on.

I dont find them too bad.
I buy my repco tools at cash converters, and when they break take them to repco for a replacement.
If someone is taking it tightly, it is not me.

I am happy to buy the same oil at the cheapest price, I don't care who is selling it. Big W is normally my first port of call, then Repco and then SuperCheap. Big W don't sell Transmax M in 4 litres any more, but they do sell Mobil 1. Repco is more expensive and SuperChaep is the most expensive (which is understandable with a name like that).

I already like the Iridium plugs.
