Icon5 Command AP 60 Cruise Control - Pad Switched

Has anyone fitted a Command AP 60 Cruise Control - Pad Switched?

If so what was it like to fit? How has it performed?

If you fitted another type of aftermarket cruise control would you comment on it please? Name also would be helpful.

I had one installed on my old Fuego and it worked faultlesly for 8 years.

I couldn't guarantee it was an AP60 (AP50 rings a bell), but looking at the website, it looks like a new style switch and that's about it.

    It was smooth and accurate.

It was far smoother then than many factory cruises, particulary Commodore's, but that may be because it was in a manual and would not kick down gears if it dropped 2 kph...

Icon5 Anyone have cruise control on a CX?

Does anyone have cruise control in a CX please? Is it actuated by vacuum or by electrical pulse? I've had a specialist CC store tell me they had problems with a vacuum control on a CX and only recommend an electric takeoff - at over $500 more than the vacuum unit!

Am I being fed a 'line'?
