    Default Too late he cries...

In the driveway is a 1994 CC Lancer that is the driver education car for the two step-sons! Why wasn't this for sale back then? Same look as my TT hire car in Europe that still holds so many fond memories.
And to top it off the boy's did their first motorkhana yesterday and I kept thinking "Jeez if this thing was a real car they would be even faster."
Hope it goes to a good/bad/ home just because it should!

    Hey Bluey
Don't want to rub it in (much) but you could have taken this one for a spin on Mt Panorama to test it
Those people that say I know - generally don't.

Rear beam looks pretty "hey how ya goin"...... thats $1200 right there. Not too mention whatever else needs to be done.

In my opinion there isn't a cheap 205 thats worth having.... hahahahahaha

Not sure how you are picking the rear beam bearing wear. From the photos shown there is none of the dreaded negative camber in the rear to show this. A photo from the rear directly would give more detail. Just looks like it has had the torsion bar position changed to lower the rear to me.

I have no connection to the car, just an interested past owner (when they were new )of one of these excellent machines.

Thanks Ron for rubbing it in!
The only laps I've done around The Mountain were in a Ford Meteor (Booted Laser) automatic on LPG. Struggled to maintain 60 km/h up towards the Cutting. I'm going to cry now.

What is the best way to bid for Peugeot on Ebay? Potential pitfalls about by a car unseen - I'm in Darwin the vehicle in Bathurst.

Whether its bearing or full blown busted, either way the rear beam looks to me like it needs pulling down. Having said that, anyone who is interested in buying a 205 needs to understand what they are in for and from my experiences and those people/friends I know that hjave bought 205s have needed to had the rear beams worked on in some capacity 9 times out of 10.

Bidding finished at $4k with reserve not met...

Wonder what a tidy one would now fetch on ebay as that was fairly rough....

    Default Motorkhana car

My better half put a bid on it but the logistics of getting it from Bathurst to Darwin proved quite expensive. So will look for a local car.
