Default Hello from Top Gear Live!

    Hi guys
I'm here as the official forum voice of the upcoming TGL shows in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Any questions you have about the event format or ticket sales - I'm here to help!

In case you weren't aware, the Top Gear PROTOTYPE Live show in Brisbane is on March 3-6, and the Top Gear FESTIVAL is in Melbourne on March 11-14.

While Clarkson, May and Jacobson presenting the most complex Top Gear show ever may seem awesome enough, the 1.52km purpose built track at the heart of the Top Gear festival in Melbourne will blow your mind!

    More information is at www.topgearlive.com.au
    Tickets are available from www.ticketek.com.au

    Hope to see you there!

And of course you are sponsoring Aussiefrogs by paying for your advertising.

Saw TG in Sydney at the end of 2009. Once was enough.

Laughing at the yobbos going ape about someone dressed in a white driving suit and helmet was the pinnacle of a rather ordinary evening.

    IMHO of course

You're not alone Craig, last nights show on TV was a big yawn (we had much more interesting things to talk about ).

...and off topic Ben Elton will be axed before his 3rd show (my prediction), what a waste of airtime that was

Oh, welcome to our new member

i do have tickets (chritmas present - family kris kringle) along with 5 other guys.
Personelly never been a rap for TG Australia. The presenters come across a very staged and over the top to be overly aussie to the point of being bloody annoying. Will go along to the show and take in on face value.
TG Iraq special wasnt the entertaining show i were hoping for. Bit of the same old stuff but heavily scripted, execpt Hammond getting the trots....hard to scrip an attack of the sh1ts.
    just my thoughts

And the cheque for the advertising is in the mail I would hope. It's not as if the Top Gear franchise can't afford it.

    +1 on that.

5th gear overtook low gear years ago IMO.

TG is more just comedy these days, no real car content at all

I think the only things we watch on 4.5 (it ain't worth 9) is Big Bang Theory and TG. Although TG is on a perilous edge.

We have a 15 yo female here who knows/cares diddly squat about cars (they are those things that others use to get her where she expects to be in X mins) who I notice regularly watches TG. If fifth gear or other car type programs are on she is nowhere to be seen
Those people that say I know - generally don't.

I thought the Iraq show was quite good. It dispelled a lot of myths about the middle east. The Fiat Barchetta was the clear winner out of the 3 cars too. I knew it would win though.

I was tolerant of Top Gear Australia until they introduced a old Ford Ute with a bull bar as the reasonably priced car.

That was the end of all credibility. To think they were doing so well (especially with the KE25 Corolla).

The UK series is fine entertainment.

I think I'd watch old re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond (sorry, Channel 11) before even contemplating Hey Hey.
