That's a pretty upmarket parking area! Citroen, Mercedes, Alfa, BMW, big Peugeot, top of the range Fords... an executive retreat? Golf club?

I assume the VW Kombi belongs to the gardener.

Apparently, it's the Novotel Thalasso Hotel Spa at Le Touquet Paris Plage.
    Cheers,

Kombi - wheel on bullbar = tourist

Now all we need is the date -CX's would be easiest to date as they are in the open, although it can't be too long after the Alfasud came out as hasn't had time to turn into a rust ball.
Couple of queries -whati s the black hatch beside the Kombi and the gold (tan) thing immediately behind it?
Those people that say I know - generally don't.

    Good call on the Kombi!

I am going for the black hatch as a Talbot, or maybe Simca 1100. As for the Gold one, I am hoping is is not some interloper in a Lada Niva!

Beside it could even be something from BMC. 1100?

And no one else has spotted the "I can't park" of the silver CX behind the flagpoles. I wonder if the height lever may have been flicked to medium to get that spot?

You mean the copper coloured 1st-gen UK Ford Granada with black vinyl roof, which is parked alongside that blue Benz W114 next to a Fiat Argenta..?

    Default Same ol' same ol'..........

Have a crack at this lot and see if you can distinguish these cars of today.......it might just prove my point that cars these days all look similar unlike the good ol' days.

    Ok, from left to right...

    C4 Grand Picasso...
I want to say 206, but the roof looks decidedly 'glass'
Scenic - current model, short wheelbase
    BMW convertible (probably)
    BMW X3
The white car looks like it could be either a Clio or a previous model Ford Fiesta...
The dark car fully in the frame that could run into the white one if it didn't brake looks like a series 1 BMW hatch (it looks too squat to be a Golf...)

    Thoughts?
