    The Latitude, the "French" luxury car badged Renault, with a Nissan rear suspension and made by Samsung motors in Korea is now available in France. This week a number of road tests have appeared in the mags. Here are some

    I read one this morning which bitched about the lack of a 5 door wagon in the range and then in comparison with the C5, Skoda Superb and the Opel Insignia rated it number 4.

    I forgot to mention the most important technical advance in this car. It has an ioniser in the ventilation system! Beat that!

    Plain awful. Hideous, bland, uninspiring, everything that a French car shouldn't be. Dreadful that Renault are heading in this direction.

    At first glance a Holden Commodore, Cruze [ Daewoo ], or Nissan Maxima.

    Doomed to mediocrity unless it is outstanding in other ways.
