    Default The Great Flood ?

Mrs 'beest drew my attention to the flood reports in the ES. Particularly to Parkes being inundated.
"Isn't that where 'Rambo lives?" She asked.
Two dramas in one year, the AF BC Crash and now floods.
From the dry side we trust that all is OK Sean and Family?

    i'm over this bloody weather

i remember back to when Alan S always talked about the weather dramas he had up north and though damn who'd want to live through that crap of floods and pouring rain

now i know how he felt

we were cut off in every direction for a few days and some low lying homes were evacuated (strange when you think we don't even have a river going through town)

forbes was and still is in trouble

another downpour last night but not enough to worry or make anything worse but 9 inches of rain in 7 days is enough

and to top it off, i went out to help a few people and someone helped themselves to my shed so some tools, welder and possibly other things i haven't taken note of anything thing else yet

I suggest that when your neighbour builds a boat like this, THEN you can expect to have a flood problem. The guy is a Dutchman who has built this replica of the Ark according to the description in the Bible.

    Hey Wilde
I reckon that Sean may be reason for this rain - didn't he start doing a Noah and gathering up pairs of animals under some Parkes Pets etc. Trust this note finds him only getting wet feet outside the house.
Those people that say I know - generally don't.
