Just re-read my post. I doesn't read the same as I meant it to sound. I meant the looks of this poster haven't benefited from the time warp

Also, there's no edit button on this thread for me and I was viewing it from elsewhere as the logged in green light wasn't showing firstly.

edit....OK, edit button on this post but not the original one.

    Default Thanks GibGib.

    I'm Baaaaack!
What a palaver getting to log on. I reckon you could get money out of the bank easier.

Thank you GibGib, I must have tested your patience to the limit eh?

"Last visited 3rd March 2006". Well I'll have to wear that. Does that mean averyone on the Toad Pond is safe from my vitriol, for now?

Very gratefull that my beloved avatar remains.

Oh, Hulloo Hullay! I'm as happy as a pig in muck.

    Welcome back John,

Unfortunately my project thread has disappeared - I know you were following it - but you'll be happy to know that I actually managed to get it going and entered in the hillclimb as intended.

The only hiccup was the harmonic balancer coming off on the second last run. I didn't put loctite on the thread thinking a bloody good whack with a windy hammer would well and truly fix it. Obviously not

Although it still did survive the 60km drive home with only the tension of the fan belt to hold it on and the timing plate bent over as a preventer

And you aren't alone! What a relief!

We got home from holiday and.... NO Aussiefrogs. I can only begin to imagine how much effort and frustration has got it all back as far as this.

As I've said somewhere else - a thousand thanks.
