    D - C Where are you ????

I have just been to the gallery & it just dawned on me (I'm not a very quick thinker you may note) that the doyan of the Citroen Forum, the moderator, the voice almighty, he who has the power (to remove objectionable messages such as this ) one Double Chevron, otherwise known as "Shane" has not yet posted his cars on the gallery.
Why is it so?? Is he not a role model for more junior francophiles, what will people think ?? C'mon Shane - where are they ??

If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!

    Hi Alan,

Help me!!!!! It must be all the power going to my head . Honestly I don't think I have a car that looks good enough to be worth posting there.... Maybe in the next couple of months when I get the old 63 ID back together I'll post some photo's there.

Well there's that and the fact that Gibgib has my whole homepage hosted right here at this site!!

    http://www.aussiefrogs.com/shane

I'll take some good photo's of the cars, prefebly in the 'assembled' state (very unlike me, to have them assembled that is ). And post the pic's to gibgib. Geeeeee's, that means I'll have to wash the cars.... Maybe I'll just wait to the next shower of rain .

The only decent photos I have taken to date are of the CX turbo and BX19. I've owned the other cars for so long I've never bothered to take a photo of them.

    seeya,

    Shane,

Perhaps if you take the photos from a far enough distance, we won't notice the rust holes
    Masking tape is another option.

    Hi Alan,

nope, wrong again, the only things my cars have in common is lack of rust. If they were rusty I wouldn't have bought them. However dings, scratches, eg: assholes in carparks have had quite an impact on them...

My CX looked fantastic about 6years ago when I painted it. I spent an enormous amount of time getting a really good finish on it. The whole car was like a red 'mirror'. In a matter of weeks (not months) #@$([email protected] mongrels in carparks had marked nearly every panel on it. Didn't even bother to wash it much after that.

    seeya,
    Shane L.
By the way, you want to see my rustiest bit of cars?

It doesn't matter what they look like in real life, there's a program I use called Fireworks that does amazing things to panels
Could even recover a "written off" frog to Concours condition
