    sales figures

    Renault sales for the first month is 320 cars, thats more than Peugeot and VW combined............. I just thought everyone should know that....

    320 cars thats impressive.
    I still havnt seen one on the road yet. Old man said he saw a Megane up the Sunshine coast.

    I saw an RX4 in Canberra yesterday. Freakshow looking thing. Never thought I'd see that Diamond in Australia again after the Laguna...

    Have seen 2 Megane cabriolets on the sunshine coast, Maroochy & Noosa.
    Others I have not seen yet.

    I've seen a coupla Megane cabriolets in Sydney and a Clio. To be honest I barely noticed them as I have just come from the UK where they are everywhere (I used to drive an R14). I am sure the Megane cabriolet will be a huuuuge seller. The Scenic will probably be a bit too different and practical for Aussie tastes.

    I'm surprised that they're not bringing the standard Megane hatch out as its an excellent car. It rides beautifully and looks great, and its incredibly roomy inside (it's 306 size but has 406 cabin room). New Laguna is very nice (as was the old one which is quite underated).
