    The votes have been counted and the Land Rover is a clear winner with 29 percent of the vote.

    McLaren F1, 17 percent;
    Audi Quattro, 16 percent;
    Jag E-Type, 15 percent;
    Ford Mustang, 10 percent;
    Citroen DS, 6 percent;
    Fiat 500, 4 percent;
    Black Cab 2 percent and
    Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 percent.

    I think the general consensus from the last discussion was that the voting audience was a little skewed

    OK, I agree that the Land Rover was a historic vehicle. I agree that the early ones had a lot of character. I agree that they are good 4x4s until something breaks.
    But best car in the world????????????????? Are they crazy??????????? If the axle doesn't break this wee, it is the gearbox. And if that doesn't break something else will.And have you ever tried to change a Landie gearbox? They must be removed through the floor, and they are HEAVY.
    I think some people have been playing with something they shouldn't.

    Id have added the Model T, VW dak dak, 57 Chevy or original Mini....
