    Mitsubishi in France

    Mitsubishi takes over in France
MMC France is to take over MMC SFN, the Mitsubishi Motors distributor for the northern half of France. This will allow Mitsubishi to bring its sales operations in France under one umbrella. Mitsubishi is in the process of restructuring its sales operations in a number of European countries. The new French organization will be headed by Dr. Ferdinand Fellner, who has the immediate task of lifting Mitsubishi's sales in France from the 10,000 in 2002 to 30,000 pa by 2007.

They were designing it for Japan you see. They didn't need to give it any style, cos it won't sell many in France and they won't see many.
