I really like the stlying of french cars.

I like peugeots from the 404 through to the 306.

I haven't seen a citroen that hasn't impressed me.

God help me I even like the Renault Vel Satis.

But I really don't like the 307. I just don't like the styling of it, and it still hasn't grown on me.

is it me?

as many on here will tell you i'm not a big fan of basically any of the 07 series
i even know a bloke that has had pugs all his life just about and soon he will be getting rid of his 405 and will probably go for the renault clio as he is most upset about the look of the 307
BTW he used to be a pug dealer and has seen a great number of froggies

Rambo, that wouldn't be Mick by any chance?

I am not a fan of the 307 styling either. I am not too keen on the Clio either. C3 is wierd but kind of nice.

Wanna know something real sad? Justin got those icons from a website called VSPY, as in Volvo Spy - "Your Independent Volvo Source".

Eh, don't knock vvspy! Sure the graphics aren't anything fancy, but they have some great discussions and you find out a lot before info is released into the public arena. Don't blame me if they have more appropriate emoticons for the task!

Want to learn a lot about future engine technology? Have a look at this thread, the second section is extremely interesting. A fascinating technical discussion encompassing several makes.

BTW, isn't this a great emoticon: .

Thank for that :p

I quite like the 206 and the 607 too (despite being styled in-house), though not likely to own either ever.

I think Peugeot should go back Pinifarinia and say they're very sorry.

i'm with qvik on this one, the only 206 i like is one in wrc kit, i dont mind the cilo.

i think the reason to blame for my dislike of the new styling is that every car manufacturer has 'euro styling' and it is begining to look cheap and tacky.
FFS what is the diference between the 307 front and the honda jazz (i think its that model)

I very much like the 307 the front is very nice but the rear has yet to be desired. It does look a lot like the C3.
We do need a lot more emoticons on this site though, can the moderators get some like from swedespeed?

p.s. I like the Clio... it's very different to all the other small cars (well, apart from the C3 now) and it's great. The 307... well, until I drove PUG307's, I wasn't particularly impressed with them, but when I got in it, and drove it for a fair length of time (1-1.5 hrs from memory) I was very impressed with its driving capabilities and the huge amount of interior space

Hmmmn, what other weird & wacky sources can we find for these graemlins and emoticons - complain about vvspy, heck, those ones were from the Figure Skating Universe.

But I have to say, I think this one is very useful

Trouble is that the Peugeot 206 and 307 have been so successful in Europe that everyone is copying them .
