How to ruin what *was* a nice 206

    one word.....

    RICE

    <a href="http://www.2sgfm.co.uk/loopee/" target="_blank">http://www.2sgfm.co.uk/loopee/</a>

Check out what this guy did to his car, It actually looked nice before he riced it.

The really sad thing is that it is just a 1.4 litre 8 valve 206

Now why wouldn't you spend all that spare cash buying a 206Gti or souping up your engine?

    n b j,

You're dead right about that! The 1.4L engine is nothing fast. Wonderful engine, but not in a car with those sort of looks. Just imagine him coming up to a 206GTI180... with more than DOUBLE the power lol

    AlanS good answer

I think he made it look a bit like a riced Mitsubishi Mirage (sort of) from the rear. I've seen a 206 running around Sydney with the kicked up twin exhausts...

he he har har.. um what does that rear wing do it looks like a pair of rabbit ears, the car looked better before he went silly, oh well it just looks like a car from max power. i don't mind a bit of rice but thats a bit too much. Is there different taxes on different enginine capacity's in the UK, i think thats why a lot of riced cars are little 1.4's, then i might be wrong.

    pugsy,

Road taxes aren't directly based on engine sizes, rather CO2 emission levels. That's why when you look at a UK car manufactuer site they always have CO2 levels listed (as in grams of CO2 output per kilometre travelled).

As a result, diesels are popular. This is because a diesel engine is inherently more economical in terms of litres/100km, and outputs less CO2 per kilometre. This in turn lowers road tax costs for the car significantly.

I think Australia should implement a similar policy. It'd minimise the number of fuel guzzling new cars on the road and/or increase the use of dedicated LPG (which produces up to 20% less CO2 than the same car running petrol).

OK. Back on topic... I hope the quad exhausts on the 206 n b j showed us here improves the performance of the car.

Take a plastic body kit and attach it to anything really and you get boiled rice. I am yet to see a really good kit. Little of it adds to the look of the car and probably has some pretty horrific effect on the cd value the engineers worked so hard to achieve.

i have a friend who has his door handles "shaved"( which is was this pug has had done). the doors are opened by a button on his alarm. if he has a flat battery, then there is a manual overide switch that has been neatly tucked away in an extremely hard to find place.

i think having the cleaner lines of no door handles is good... i am not sure if i like the function of it all though.

The no door handles thing might have been alright if it was done well.

If you look at the second last and third last photos you can see the imperfections in the paint job where the door handles were

I hope he never gets locked out...
