    cute blonde 206 CC spotting

Hey, Just spotted a rather cute young blonde lady driving a Vic registered Silver 206CC on Belconnen way Canberra. Hmm, interesting, is that one of those 'roof folds back into the boot' things. Anyway, tried to give the wave when stopped at the lights, but she wouldn't even look my way, just too ugly I guess.

    cheers!
    Dan.

As a general rule - the younger the driver and the more recent the car - the less they want to know you. Chances are she wouldn't have a clue what a Citreon was.

I remember when I was younger, driving around the NSW North Coast in my dads 504 wagon and waving at every frog you passed.

Then last year when I bought my first car (306) and began driving around in Sydney, I waved at peugeots only to get blank expressions in return. It was a little dissappointing.

"Daddy", or "sugar daddy", probably bought it for her so she probably no idea what she is driving, except that it is sports car. As a female French car driver and enthusiast I tend to wave at any other French car, especially if it is the same model as the one I am driving at the time. Get really annoyed when I am driivng the 306 and see a R12 wagon cry

Dan, do you wave at all women in French cars on Belconnen Way? Didn't notice you wave at me when you saw me driving my 306, but then I am not blonde. frown

Hey, tried to, but you didn't look my way.
and no it isn't just blondes I wave at but anyone I see in a french car. So far very few have waved back or acknowledged my existance in anyway. But hey, I'll keep trying.

I find pre-80s French car owners are the most responsive when I wave, particularly Peugeot drivers to another Peugeot driver.

Dan I remember the day I saw your car I was running late for work, so focussed on the road ahead, but not so focussed that I didn't notice the Citroen in the lane next to me.

In Bris all 504 owners wave, well i wave to all of them at least, mmost wave back.

505 owners don't wave. Maybe cause I allmost hit her........... Another story

the youngn's (405 and later) don't get any respect from me, they should be saluting their elders

There is no loyalty from owners of new pugs, just a new car I guees.

No one these forums I am sure.

Waves at all 504 owners, little movement of hand for 505's, still thinking what gesture to give non waving owners of new pugs .

    muuuuuuuuuuhahahaha

    James,
And all others.....wehere one of our kids goes to school, Cavendish rd High here in Bris, there are 3 505 wagons. Our SR, and 2 x STI. We all have a bit of a chuckle and wave at each other always.
James , my wife would be upset if it is her 505you're referring to. mallet We wave to all who wave, but only wave to the older or people who look "mature" as they usually know a Pug .
Renault drivers are good too, if they are inolder 80's cars.

I guess I can allow for a few exceptions.

Its just been my experience that many 505 drivers are not in the know about the wave.

The lady in question was a girl that goes to my uni. I almost crashed into her whilst trying to get a closer look blush .

I am quite happy to wave to any pug drivers, as long as I can see their head above the steering wheel wink .

...........maybe its your technique guys? whip I have no probs with the CC-chicks or any of the Cafe-Puggers. I even hail cit's and ren's, with mixed but positive results.
I have stickered x3 CC-birds at work, who love their pug, but HATE the internet!. Perhaps the others have a complex now coz someone made them sit in the back seat! moon ...lol -chris
