    Who is this 'Brad' character?

So after year of tourment and ridicule, that 'P' name has gone the way of the Hyper-Colour T-Shirt and Ab-Rocker and Neil...your tourment has pained me for too long :p

I am now just Brad, plain and simple (very plain actually).

So seeing as how we used to call you "Brad" when we saw you in the past, I take it from now on, you prefer us to call you Phasis or Phaseless now or am I missing something... mallet mallet cry

I like the idea of people using their real names...

Apart from anything else, it tends to keep them more honest.

Easy for you Ray; your name's not "Smith" in a case like that it really doesn't make much difference. roll_lau roll_lau

Is that why so many Smiths have criminal records?

Never would have thought of that...

With many pages of the Australian phone books devoted to listings of Bells, I don't know what you're raving about!

Or, to put it this way, as my mum said after marrying dad... "I always heard about the Bell millions, but when I got married I found out it was people, not money!"

Brad J*... hmmm... and you don't come from Albury?

Brad, nice move mate,.... i was taking it up the earhole or something, over who i was at the SFCD so i might contact Gib and get xqisid changed,.. but to what?
Not sure, how bout, Bob upandown?
Maybe i can adopt the now orphan Phasis?...
Or should i do the trendy thing like "I_CANT_GET_ENOUGH_FROM_MY_PUG"...
maybe something totaly obscure like Frog No777?
Ive always wanted PUG007 but Bond never drove a 306...
Perhaps i should just get Chris... but thats boring... combine that with pug, pugris or chrug...
Votes and ideas welcome....please be kind. Cheers Xq, but for how long?
    ... ptui!

Brad, how did you do that? I tried to do that a few months back when I surrendered my GTI6 to the other half in the break up. I wanted to just go to "lincoln"...

I am one of those lucky people who doesn't share the same last name with anyone in Sydney (apart from family obviously) Don't know about the whole of Australia though.

True .... Internet anonymity is a shield for the 51YO "Jane aka John" - online chatting with the 15YO "Peter - who's name really is Peter !" But it doesn't take a genius to work out who is really who ..

Heh! All you rambos and coloured bloods and Xquiz ids and the like out there! Don't go changing your names! They add a bit of colour and light to the board. Its only old fogeys like me who couldn't thing of anything equally witty at the time who deserve to get stuck with their real boring old monicker.

I was always rather impressed with someone who called themselves after a Greek colony on the Black Sea in Georgia! Nothing wrong with "Brad" of course but "Phasis" had a real ring to it!

    Cheers

I tend to be just lincoln on other boards. I don't own the car with GTI124 as it's plates anymore...it doesn't feel right anymore...but i don't care too much.

So Brad what is the "Phasis" story?

    Check out this info then:

Googled it. I suspect though that Rod probably knew the answer already.

I thought I was told by "that Brad character", Phasis was a techno DJ from Europe. Maybe I misunderstood.

If people want to change their names it is a very easy proceedure as long as the name you want isn't currently being used by either a publicly listed or login name. Don't ask why there are 2 names for each user

    Send me your request.
Updating some site stuff tonight so if you have more gallery piccy's/ additions, send through for damn near immediate response wink

Wow, i never knew Phasis was an ancient greek city.

Gerry, my original thoughts about the name conjured images of light, pulsars and general spacie stuff. I saw the name on a trance album I had, Trancemaster Volume 7, which incidentally has my all time favorite song on it, Dreams by Quench.

Here is a discography of Phasis' work.

    Well....

I reckon I at least am going to have to go on calling you Phasis regardless! A name that combines an ancient Greek city in Georgia with a Trance Album simply can't be let slip!

    hows this for a definition:

phasis Lit. ďa showing forth, declarationĒ: denunciation of a man who is illegally withholding property which belongs to the state. Unlike the related (and much better attested) procedure of apographe, phasis was apparently directed against the person rather than the property.

    Greek: φάσις.
