    Private Messages

Please grab any info from your PM's that you may need as there is a chance of losing all your current private messages when we move across to vBulletin. You have at least 24 hours.

Still having some dramas but hoping we will have some kind of action this weekend.

Sad story gibgib... I use that as my phone book while I'm away!

I might get a chance to copy stuff tomorrow.

Ray it should all go across but just want to safe guard ourselves.
The vBulletin one is a lot better, telling you there are messages waiting as soon as you login.
Worst case, I can still get the raw data from previous back ups & obtain info.

    Slowly getting there.

My hands are tied at present. We are moving to a newer server, still DCSI but with up to date php (browser compression). Had earmarked tonight to get the board running on the new server.

The files have been copied across but can't set attributes to them.

With the forum being so dynamic, the file copying is current only at the time it's done (this morning I think) so it means going into this server again & copying new or modified files to the new server, ie. new posts & replies, to keep it updated.

Once it's all working on the new server (with the current software 6.2.1.3), I will firstly attempt the upgrade (UBB 6.3 if I can find it) & importation to vBulletin.

Next step is to turn off this board on this server & wait for the DNS settings to propergate across the internet. For those who can't wait I can give you the address when the time comes, for no interuptions.

Still desperately seeking UBB 6.3 upgrade version - no one has it!
I am doubting very much a smooth transition without UBB 6.3 Upgrade eek!
Scary thought having to ammend 78,000 posts that decide to revert their post date to 1st January 1970 - what happened on my test forum disappro

DeKa found me the full version, however I need the Upgrade one to re-align all the fields in the post & member files.

    If you can help...<a href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank">[email protected]</a>

I'll see if I can find the update, it sounds like a hard one.

Have you questioned the problem over at <a href="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/" target="_blank">http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/</a> ? Somebody may be able to help out with a solution..

I've been talking with vBulletin about it & they can't seem to help me.
If this board didn't have the non standard additions I'd be OK.
