Try the railways... they'd probably do it cheapest for you. Deliver to their yard and it has to be picked up at the other end, but that can't be too hard?

    On a vaguely related note......

We enquired on a same day courier to Newcastle for some documents that need to be sent, signed and returned by today.

    Cost - $640.00

Bugger.....looks like I will be driving up to Newcastle tonight

Man... even I'd do it for less than that!

Did they need to return with proof of delivery in the same day too?

Actually I need door to door service. I am buying from a private seller in Sydney, and I also need the parts by Friday. (assuming I can get them sent 1st thing tomorrow morning) I think TNT will charge $80

Oh.. how long would it take to get here by train? I could enquire the cost of getting a courier to deliver it to the train.

By train... days... believe me, you wouldn't do it that way if you were in a hurry.

$80 isn't too bad though. What part of Sydney is it coming from?

Actually, you should be getting them picked up today. You have till 5pm... get onto it!

They do their overnight pickups in the afternoon... till 5pm in most areas, even a tad later in convenient locations.

I could guess? No, not with you there...

No, I dont need transporting, tho I weigh more than 40kms..

So you cant guess? I dont want to say for fear of being flamed.. ok, the only hint is there are four of them.

Seems I can get it done for $65.

Not overnight, and not garanteed by Friday, but they will be at the Melbourne depot on friday.. so

Hope they do arrive in time..

They are Transeasy, think they mainly use TNT.

Fingers crossed, tho I have had some bad experiences also, before.
