You may mean Auto Book world on Clarence street and yep it's pretty close to Town hall. I'm actually heading going there today to see if they have Tune to Win. A whole 30 second walk from my office

Not sure if it's still there... was in Clarence Street, near where K G Murray used to be, I think that was 152, so you'd be looking for 176 or something.

But you might be better off toddling down to Mona Vale and seeing Fred Vogel there. He was involved, I think, in the shop in Clarence Street.

There is Motorbooks at Cremorne... 233 Military Rd...

There's also a very good one in Parramatta, Church Street.

Motor Book World in Camberwell is great - especially if you like old stuff. They have back issues of CAR, Autocar, Road & Track, Motor, Wheels, Top Gear, etc.

For current stuff - magazines & books, I recommend Technical Book Shop & McGills in the CBD. Ever wondered what a $50 car magazine looks like You now know where to go

    Cheers,
