Member Statistics - Post Histories

Froggy Forum is 3 years old this month.

These Stats are current at time of posting...

There are:

957 Members with LESS than 10 Posts
373 of these members have NEVER posted (zippo)....

Meaning:

269 Members have posted MORE than 10 posts

Out of this there are:

76 Members with GREATER than 100 Posts.

Since the 1st of Jan 2003:

298 Members have posted

Since the 1st of March (this month):

121 Members have posted

Thus we could perhaps say:

76 - 121 Members are "regulars"

(I'll post some more stats during the month...)

Interesting figures, I've always wondered how many of the 1000+ members are actually active posters.

Strange how 373 people would bother registering, but then never actually make a post.

The stats about active users don't surprise me.

I read or at least flick through most posts, and the variety of users that you consistently see isn't consistent with a 4 digit number

Having said that, the thing I find great about Aussiefrogs is that it has traffic. Like it or not, forums are dead without traffic, and without dynamism, you can't go anywhere. People who visit and see the same thread from last week and nothing new, won't stay, and the existing users get tired and walk off.

I'm not a regular poster but since finding this forum I generally have a look at least once a day. I find it to be well managed and easy to navigate with lots of interesting comments and valuable advice. Really nice work Gibgib. head_ban

By the way, how do I grow up from being a tadpole?

ALSPug504,

Nope.. The longest usually involve drive-day topics:

7 pages and expanding rapidly - http://www.aussiefrogs.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000108;p=7

171 posts in total for threads relating to the latest run, and we still haven't resolved the date or route Good thing Richard's now keeping the ball rolling for us though!

Not my life, but I do get stuck into it...

Procar, Aussiefrogs and Atlas is all, really, though I have a few posts on 7th Gear and Trackforum, but I got chucked out of ten-tenths over a year ago with about 2300 posts up.

I'll try & do a by country one this evening. It's only a matter of putting in search options in the control panel for most member stats.

18,495 posts for Ray. aussiefrogs was around for over a year before the whole board even reached that number.
To clock up the k's, Ray starts & replies to topics with a solo
Just kidding........

Recognise quite a few of those UK user names from Andyspares!
Glad you posted that list of UK members, gave me a chance to savour the words of "Davespug306" once again, I'd forgotten that! mallet
As far as I know Dave Bamber (dave B) and I are the only UK members to display the Aussiefrog sticker on our vehicles.
I still have about 8 in my desk, I guess I'm the UK sticker pick-up point then?

You bet you're kidding...

I think there would be very few whose average post is longer than mine...

But when you look and see that the thread about Chris Amon alone is over 2500 posts you see it's a bit different there.
