    Last Sundays SEQ cruise

A few of the Aussiefrog members, including myself (Blue 306 S16), Chipper (Grey 205 GTi) and Chipper's brother (White 205 GTi), (didn't catch his name) partook in an extreamly fun cruise on the weekend just gone.

We started our journey near Amberly Airforce base, and drove through Laidley, Gatton, Toowoomba, Highfields, Crows Nest, Esk, Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo; a total of over 400kms of some of the finest roads I have seen.

The quality of the cars there was high, we're talking new 200SX's, a late model RX7, Nissan GTR Skylines and a Mitsibishi Evo 2. However there was a decent contingent of Euro's, 3 pugs, a Triumph and a Fiat.

I'm happy to report that we shocked several people with the ability of the Peugeots, especially in the tight sections where Chipper gladly set the pace at the front of the pack, however I was shocked to hear how the rented Ford KA put up a decent fight.

Anyways, you can read more and see some good pics of the days events URL=http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1065&pagenumber=1]here[/URL]

    Hey Phasis,

All of the current European Fords are right up there in the chassis quality department. Shane they don't just import the lot. The Focus and Puma are supposed to be superb. The Ka would be a good little runabout, even with its old fashioned (but torquey) engine.

Wasn't Murat in the 200SX was it?

    Cheers
