    HOW IS THIS DONE?

    How is this done?
Two straight lines are drawn down a racetrack, line "A" and line "B". A coin is placed midway down the track on line "B". The guys accelerates the renault on line "A" hard up to 60mph and when his rear end is parallel to the coin on line "B" he swings the rear end out, hits the coin with his rear tire, then without slowing down puts the rear end back on line "A", speeds off, turns around, comes back does the same thing hitting the coin with his other rear tire.
HOW IS THIS DONE? Can anyone here do that?

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.
