Actually this is the second sticker to be put on Ebay the first went for $4.50 i think, Deka is having a bit of fun, showing that some people will collect anything even to the extent of paying many dollars for FREE stickers.
I think it's a hoot really.
cheers!

I think the last one went to a Finn or Swede it is posted here in the forum somewhere.

I can just imagine the poor owner even thinking about sticking it on his SAAB, and watching the mighty force of the Aussiefrogs sticker make the car fall apart and explode

Hi all,

No no, the first one went to a guy in Engadine NSW.

It started as a bit of a laugh, and a good way to advertise the forum to anyone searching for Peugeot, Citroen or Renault (as you obviously did Lincoln!) gibgib did the design but didn't want to pay the fees. Our eBay fees are usually somewhere between $30-$50/mth so another 35c here or there doesn't matter to me so I listed it under our name.

Did you see the categories I put it in? Cars & Motor Bikes:Car Parts & Accessories:Turbo & Performance Parts and Cars & Motor Bikes:Automobilia:Badges, Stickers, Patches

I feel bad having the money still sitting in my bank account (a whole $4.75). What should we do with it? I think we should give it to gibgib but he wasn't too keen on that idea. Maybe we give it to greenblood to help subsidise the stickers??

I was just browsing the accessories...was a nice laugh when I found it! I'd suggest that the money goes towards tea and coffee, or the like on the cruises. If we raise enough it can be passed to other states too.

Well the sticker sold for $12.50, and I've e-mailed the guy but haven't heard back. I had to set up a PayPal account so I can recieve the money from him.

So far I've got $17.25 worth of tea and coffee for Sydney drive on 12 January 2003.

Shall I re-list the sticker everyone?

Derek.

Just a thought, but as those stickers have www.aussiefrogs.com slapped across them, what do you think the reaction will be when one of these "buyers" logs in & finds all they have to do is "ask and thou shalt receive?"
Feeling they've been had or tendencies towards verbal & physical abuse??

Alan,

Those were my feelings, hence why I asked if people thought we should re-list them.

Time for a poll??

I think for now I'll leave it alone.

If necessary I'll sponsor tea and coffee myself
