    Car Comparison:

Check out this comparison between a whole heap of hot cars, such as GT2 Porsche, Renault CLio Sport and the 206 GTi.

Obviously the Porsche GT2 is way out infront head_ban but the renault does very well and the 206 does pretty well too!

There is a full article and run down of each car and how it drove, handled, etc...

So the Volvo S60T5 and the Peugeot 206 came out level pegging on the raw numbers (though not in driver opinion - where the pug came out way in front).

Pity about the Volvo's major brake fade and poor steering though. Who would have expected such things from such a safety conscious car maker? roll_lau roll_lau roll_lau

Mind you, to be fair, the Volvo beat the pants off the Chevrolet Lumina SS (Also known as a Holden Monaro)

We experienced a lot of understeer, and felt that the seats didnít provide sufficient cornering support. There were almost no brakes left either. Thereís no denying that in automatic form, the Lumina is best suited as a towing car or a long distance cruiser. But as a performance car, it doesnít quite cut it.

What is it with Volvos in this forum? They seem to pop up in too many threads. mallet

Interesting about the brake fade in the s60 T5, brakes have always been one of volvo's strong points, and my 740 has never had any issues with braking after doing a lot of hard work.

I asked this question in a forum a few days ago I think.

But no we don't get the s16, but it is the same car for us, just badged as GTi, there is no difference between an s16 and a GTi
