    350BHP Street legal 206

Dimma Works in the UK will take any 3door 206 and convert it into a 206 WRC. Complete with wheels, larger wheel arches, body kit and rear spoiler. But the best thing is they do the engine as well. It's a Cosworth engine that produces approx 350BHP.

The conversion costs around 5,700 Pounds and I am not sure yet if it is a 4WD.... still check that out.

Do they do the special sticker that say:

Hey cops, look at me, I'm just begging to be pulled over and booked for some lame ass thing!

Or would you only use this on a rally/racetrack?

I would ditch all the stickers and fiberglass and just go with the engine mod, and just sit at the lights humbly beside almost any other street car, in a standard looking 206, knowing your gonna whoop them!

Of course it has to be street legal, otherwise you can't rally the beast. A full rally spec motor would be the biggest pig to drive in city traffic, the torque range would be totally wrong, probably best between 4.5k and 8k. Making it street friendly would lower the power significantly i'd think 2_cents

    yeah I would agree.

It depends if it's full rally spec engine or if it's just a power production/street type engine.

All they say is that it is a Cosworth, I dunno how man cylinders...for all we know it could be a flat6, maybe outa a porsche 911. Who knows
Although obviuously it wouldn't be outa a porsche wink but it could be some kind of flat 6 that can easily produce 350hp

I figure it wouldn't have a racing clutch or gearbox either... I figure a normal 5 or 6 speed box and a normal road clutch.

I saw this in Max Power magazine. I love it its hot.

The cosworth motor is from the Ford Escort Cosworth. Its a L4 16V Turbo. Stock they make 220HP with a T3 Turbo. 350HP is easily achievable with mild bolt on mods.

Oh and the engine is mounted North West not like a normal FWD car.

a north west engine is mounted diagonally across the engine bay. It's not to be mistaken with the new L shape style block.

......oh dear. think he means east-west. L4 is a not so comon term for the block. Which is the same engine Sierra Cosworth had in em. They are a 2t turbo monster... think Touring cars late 80's early 90's. i had a lap ina ex- John Bowe unit and needed counseling.

    is it FWD or AWD?
nbj it is AWD it is in the latest issue of Performance Gti.
The one they have made has a steering used by colin mcrae whilst he was at ford, and it has launch control, which can be set at a present rev limit before the clutch is released. Pretty good i reckon.

along with the ford cosworth engine goes the 4wd ford cosworth chassis (they shorten it), drivetrain... then they dump your 206 shell on top
