    Motor BFYB new issue

Has anyone had a look at the latest motor? It has the annual bang for your buck special.

    Interesting points
    - winner was the Astra Turbo
    - Clio Sport ran a slightly faster lap (a couple of tenths) than the XR6 turbo.
    - SMG M3 did surprisingly poorly (in my opinion), compared to a lot of other cars considerably cheaper than it.

    Its worth a read.

Being lucky enought to have drive a SMG and manual E46 at Wakefield back to back i can say that the manual car felt more relaxed and more responsive. The SMG is for lazy gits if you ask me, but down the straight it was the quicker car by only a little.
Those Clio's are the best hot-hatch!!... awesome little machines.
might have to pick up a copy, and put it back when im done...lol.-chris

Indeed the last years comp was giving rave reviews to the Clio, even though they stuffed up the laptimes (wrong braking points).

I still tend to think they should do best of 3 lappers. I was so impressed with the Clio's I have seen and read about im half contemplating the move to a Clio.... err. humm....

Now where is the closes news agent along the way to work tomorrow....
