    Froggers in Coffs Harbour?

Well here I am in Coffs and have only seen one other Cit in the past week. A Qld C5 V6. Yes it got a sticker under the wiper!

Have seen a few Pugs, including a well worn 505 in Bellingen yesterday. Was still going strong though.

I don't recall any Renaults though.

A bit sparse on the ground here in 'nana country!

Hol is going fine. Whipped the XM down to Car haters today to wash it. I cheated and just used their water to rinse car before and after using Meguiars Gold Class wash I don't want car haters crap wash and brush on my car thanks very much! The place we are staying in has a garage attached so I gave the XM its first proper polish since I bought it last January! (I know others may do a lot better as they are professionally trained, but I tried)

Gave it a good detailed going over with paint clean and then followed with gold class polish and let it set well while I touched up the black bits with some black polish.

The car looks great now. Watch some p%$#@ come along and do something to it!

(BTW - you have to use car haters or sim around here as home car washing is banned coz of the drought)

Hoping that Sydney finishes burning before next Friday when we go home. Lucky we haven't tried this week as we would have had to go right out around Merriwa, Bathurst, Cowra Yass etc etc. uuurggh! Long trip that one.

    More later dudes and dudetts.

UFO, I guess you hadn't noticed during your trips through Canberra that a fair percentage of the bus's here in ACT are renaults too!

    cheers!

Renault bus's seemed big in Perth too, as I noticed on my recent trip.

Well, didn't get the chance to take a pic of one of the buses, but they do belong to Kings, who I realised today are everywhere from Newcastle up, so someone else may get a pic.

Mrs UFO and I arrived back at Citroen Central this afternoon just before 6. Glad to be home. Enjoyed the break though.

Couple of minor jobs to be done on the XM. I think the rear brake valve needs a remove and flush as the bum of the car sinks almost as soon as you get out (any opinion on this Al? be polite). I think the recent prob I had with a hard front sphere has lead to premature demise of the FR lower ball joint, so that will be a Xmas job. fun fun fun!

Good to be back amongst the land of the froggers! dance head_ban

    Hi Craig,

Welcome back, missed your humour on the board, if you go back over a few posts you'll see what I mean

Your problem with the XM has all the hallmarks of rear Height corrector, the're fun aren't they, I've got a leak on mine at the moment seems to be directly under the coil as you look down?? is it the FDV under there, blocky unit with four or five high pressure lines, is there a low pressure line in there somewhere?? I'll have to get it on stands clean it down and wait to see where the leak is, very small amounts of LHM maybe 250ml a week, but none if I am not using it. Won't get to it until after my little holiday were flying to Vic. on Sunday.

PS. Alan has computer probs at the mo so is making infrequent visits (has to borrow a monitor) wink

    Cheers
    Chris

Sounds like it may be it - more likely an internal blockage or leak though. I'll get it off (!) and soak in white spirits for a while and see if that fixes it. Getting real good at getting the hydra pipes back on now - too much practice!. No sign of external leaks. Will also try a regassed accum sphere on front too.

Pity Al is so far away, I could give him a monitor!

    Ava good hol

That would have been us! Well spotted. We only saw one other Cit on the way home (before we got to north of Sydney anyway) and I thought it was a dark green XM on the other side of the freeway type road south of Coffs. It could have been a Xantia. I don't recall seeing a BX though.

Anyway, if I missed waving at you, I am sorry. I must arrange some remedial froggy wave lessons from Alan.

I have started waving at Renaults and Peugeots now. Wonder if I'll get a wave back.
